Authenticity

Every card we list is a PSA-graded slab. Before listing, we check the card itself, the case and label, and the PSA certification record. Photos show either the actual slab or a representative copy of the same card and grade, so small details may differ from the copy you receive.

Where several copies of the same card and grade are available across our stock and our partners’ stock, the photo is a representative photo and the certification number is hidden. Where only one copy is available, the photo shows the actual slab. Because stock moves quickly, a photo may occasionally show a copy that has since sold, and any certification number visible in a photo belongs to that copy, not necessarily the one you receive. Each slab you receive has its own certification number printed on the label, and you can check it on PSA’s website when it arrives. If the number does not match PSA’s records, please contact us with photos within 48 hours of delivery.

Card Value & Story

Zapdos ex SAR 204/165 pictures Zapdos flying through thunderclouds, with Articuno and Moltres soaring beside it. The card is from Pokemon 151 (SV2a), released in Japan on June 16, 2023, and carries a new illustration by Shiburingaru. That set is a commemorative release limited to the Pokémon numbered 1 to 151 in the original Pokédex. It is one of eight Special Art Rare cards in the set. Japanese card media cite the pull rate for the rarity in this set at about one card per 5 boxes.

Zapdos, a first-generation legendary bird, is popular across generations together with Articuno and Moltres. It is well known in Japan and overseas, and it plays an important role in an animated Pokémon feature film. Collectors rate the three-bird composition highly, and fans of the trio are especially keen on the card. Players have also paid attention to it. Collector demand from the generation that played back then remains strong.

As of September 2026, an earlier card featuring all three birds is on record as having traded at very high prices.
